This month’s line-up – on Monday 10th October – features three more exciting names from the London theatre scene: Katy Baker, David Breeds and Abigail Matthews.

Katy Baker trained at Central School of Speech and Drama. She started a group called Four Femmes on the Thames with three other friends from drama school and gigs in and around London in venues places as Ronnie Scott’s, The Hideaway and The Savoy.
As an actress, theatre credits include Nikki in Glitch and Turn (Bubble and Squeak), Mignon in Lulu7 (So & So Productions), Kathryn Barker in Sing Happy and Flora Meszaros in Flora the Red Menace (All Star Production), Miep Gies in The Diary of Anne Frank (Stage Taylor), Daphne Fritters in Dick Barton Special Agent, Mimsy Hubley in Plaza Suite, Jeanette Fisher in Last of the Red Hot Lovers and Milly Carter in Gosforth’s Fate (Queen Elizabeth). Katy also wrote and performed a one-woman show about the struggling life of an actress through Kander & Ebb songs. She can also make the sound of a train whistle with her voice.
David Breeds has recently been seen in the original cast of Tim Firth and Gary Barlow’s new musical The Girls. David graduated from CPA Studios in 2014. He was the recipient of a Lionel Bart Foundation Scholarship and a 2014 finalist in The Stephen Sondheim Student Performer of the Year awards. He also played Walter Grubb in Howard Goodall’s The Dreaming at the Union Theatre. David has been involved in the development of Chris Bond’s musical play BIG TIME! playing the role of Lionel Bart in various readings and the role of Ricky Sterling in the 2015 concert version at Theatre Royal, Stratford East.
